The city of Los Angeles has made a new program called Responsible Beverage Program (RBP) to assist small restaurants with less than 150 capacity to streamline and save money on the conditional use permit process. Normally the fee for an LA CUP is anywhere between 15 to $20,000 and takes approximately 9 months. This program will save an average of $10,000 and reduce the time by 4 months to business owners applying for a CUP.
